Certified 8(a) Firm

Small Disadvantaged Business Concern

A small business concern that is at least 51% unconditionally owned by one or more individuals who is both socially and economically disadvantaged or, in the case of a publicly owned business, has at least 51% of its stock unconditionally owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and has its management and daily business controlled by at least one socially and economically disadvantaged individual. Must be certified by the Small Business Administration. This certification also pertains to a small business concern that is at least 51% unconditionally owned by an economically disadvantaged Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization or, in the case of a publicly owned business, has at least 51% of its stock unconditionally owned by one of these entities, has its management and daily business controlled by members of an economically disadvantaged Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization, and meets the requirements of 13 CFR part 124. HUBZone Certification

Applicants must meet the Small Business size standards set forth by the Small Business Administration and have their principal offices located within a HUBZone, which includes lands on federally recognized Indian reservations. Businesses must be owned and controlled U.S. citizens, and at least 35% of its employees must reside in a HUBZone.
